The Theology of Plato

EN · English

Proclus' great systematic exposition of Platonic theology, read in full in Thomas Taylor's classic English translation: the six books with a seventh supplied by the translator — the procession of all things from the One, the divine orders, and the ascent of the soul — together with the Elements of Theology, On Providence and Fate, the Ten Doubts concerning Providence, and On the Subsistence of Evil. For anyone ready to finally hear the summit of Neoplatonism, the system pagan theology built before it fell silent. Long after the last chapter, one feeling remains: all things flow from the One — and you have traced the whole way down and the way back.
